New music video website

Hold on to your earphones, here is a great new music video website. It is called YouMusic.com - Got Music? Find Fans! Love Music? Find Talent!, yep a long title but worth the visit. I just spent 2 hours over there watching music videos by some very talented people.
So here is one of my favorite videos at YouMusic, it is called Welcome to the World by the Underwater Pilots. Here is the link to the video. Welcome to the World.
That site is way better than any of the other music websites I have seen in a long time. The design and graphics are great.
Social networking for music lovers
You know all about social networking. Myspace and Facebook taught you all about that. Now there is a social network that is all about music. A place where the actual artists, producers and fans can all come together.
The place is Kerchoonz and you can download music for free without worrying about stealing it since the artist gets their royalties straight from Kerchoonz.
I just became a member (membership is free) and checked out some of the videos. There is one on there called the "Mad Drummer" which is a gorilla playing the drums to a well known song. The videos are not your typical Youtube type fare but are professionally done by the artists themselves.
If you are a music download fanatic then you'll love this site. Don't worry about finding your way around, when you join up they put some how-to instructions in your "in box". Check it out, what have you got to lose except maybe a few hours of entertaining fun.

That good ole' boy, singer Jerry Reed died earlier this month. The singer wrote and sang that funny song "The Bird" which gives new meaning to one getting "it".

Leona Lewis is still on top
Leona's latest "Bleeding Love" is still top of the charts in both the UK and and the USA. Keep up the good work girl. A bit a trivia about Leona: she has been a vegetarian since she was 12 years old.
The artist formerly known as "Prince"

I wonder how you really pronounce his name? Since he changed his name to a symbol I am not sure. His birth name is Prince Rogers Nelson. But that is all old news. In May 2000 he went back to using his birth name of Prince. Funny how the rest of the planet did not catch on to it. Did you know that Prince is a vegan and has been voted the sexiest vegan on the planet by PETA?
His most well known song by far is "Little Red Corvette" and I found a funny story related to the song and how one person actually thought it was about a car.
Last I heard is that he was in Prague making a video for his latest song. He is still actively turning out songs and albums. He is scheduled to make an appearance at the Grammy's in a few days.

Neil Diamond on a rebound

The 66 year old singer is on the rebound with his song "Sweet Caroline". One can only wonder why it took the man 40 years to reveal who inspired him. Is it a publicity stunt to get him back in the headlines again? If it is it sure did work. His song "Sweet Caroline" and Caroline Kennedy have just hit all time highs for Internet searches across all search engines.
